It started with a single summer
Salva Pharia began the way a lot of love affairs with Hvar do. The person behind it came here on holiday and, like so many before him, never quite managed to leave. He came back, and came back again, until one summer he decided the island should be more than a getaway. It should be home.
He bought a house on the hillside above the town, then a second on the water in the Old Town, and made Hvar his summer base. He could have handed the keys to a rental agency and looked the other way. He didn't. Having fallen for the island himself, he wanted anyone who stayed to feel the same welcome he had found.
So he kept it personal: a small, owner-led collection, run by people who live here, rather than another listing lost in a catalogue. A handful of homes he genuinely cares about, opened to a few guests each season, and looked after as if you were his own guests. Because in every way that matters, you are.
